Role

Looking to expand their team, Media Booth is seeking to appoint a part-time Digital Media Coordinator. This role is diverse and all applicants will need to prove they have previous experience in social media account management, design and copywriting. The role is approx. 15-20 per week and is ideal for parents looking for a position that still gives them the flexibility to work in with school duties.

The role requires the successful applicant to:

• Assist in the creation of social media strategies across all social media channels, aiming to maintain and build communities, drive brand engagement, and generate leads for clients

Experience with visual communication principles

amiliarity with web design and content management systems

Assist in the management of every part of our clients’ social media strategy, this includes creating plans, content production, scheduling and reporting

Assist in managing multiple portfolios of clients where you are the point of contact and the scheduler of content

Assist in the analyses of social media reports

Stay up to date with the latest innovations in the social media world with the aim of testing/launching/integrating new approaches to clients’ social media campaigns

Graphic design skills, Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator

Additional qualifications in web design is a plus

The successful applicants must have:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role

The successful applicant must demonstrate the following:

Be a team player

Be self-motivated, confident, energetic and creative

Expert understanding of the English language, including written and verbal skills

Accomplished communication skills

Sound understanding of social media principles

Ability to operate under consistent pressure and to meet tight deadlines

Competent skills in Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator required

Excellent eye for detail

Ability to take on responsibilities

Ability to prioritise, plan and complete multiple projects on-time while juggling priorities

Have previous experience in Facebook Insights, Hootsuite and Google Analytics

Sound knowledge Microsoft Word and Excel

Skills in photography, desirable but not a must
